Additional optional covers

In addition to your landlord's buildings and contents (optional) insurance, your policy can now be further extended with the purchase of our optional products Residential Emergency Assistance, Landlords Legal Expenses and Rent Guarantee insurance. These optional extras are only available where cover is arranged over the phone.

Residential Emergency Assistance

• Cover up to £500.00 for emergency repairs (including call out charges, material and VAT)
• No limit on the number of claims and no excess to pay. Cover includes the following:
• Failure or Damage to Plumbing & Drainage
• Failure or Breakdown of the Electricity Supply
• Failure or Breakdown of the Primary Heating System
• Lost Keys
• Failure or damage to Locks, Doors or Windows rendering the home insecure
• The product is underwritten by Fortis Insurance Ltd

Landlords Legal Expenses Insurance

(not available if any tenants are Asylum Seekers)

• Cover up to £25,000 and no excess to pay
• Cover for Breach of Tenancy Agreement
• Cover for Pursuit of Rent Arrears
• Cover to evict the Tenant(s) or anyone in the property
• Landlord Legal Defence cover against both civil & criminal proceedings
• The product is underwritten by Fortis Insurance Ltd

Landlords Legal Expenses & Rent Guarantee Insurance

Everything as stated under Landlords Legal Expenses, also including:

• Genuine Limit of Indemnity of £30,000 in unpaid rents.
• Very prompt interim payment pledge - in landlord's account within 7 days of the end of each unpaid month's rental.
• Highly competitive rate based on rent per calendar month.
• Priced per property not per tenant.
• Annual policy not requiring notification of tenant/change of tenant details
