Q: Is immediate cover available?
A: Yes. Follow the straightforward instructions to obtain an instant quote, instant cover and instant documentation online. Alternatively, you would prefer to speak to a professional insurance advisor please call our office us on 0845 226 8559. We can email across policy documents within minutes of cover being incepted, at no extra cost to you.

Q: How much will it cost?
A: To obtain a formal quotation, please contact our office on 0845 226 8559 or follow the instructions on our quotation page. Each quotation is assessed on the individual details disclosed to us and our subsequent insurers.

Q: How can I pay for my policy?
A: We offer our customers a choice of payment methods. You can choose to pay your insurance premium in a one-off lump sum by debit card or credit card (see below for accepted cards). If you would prefer to spread the cost of your insurance by monthly direct debit, we can offer a payment plan of eight monthly instalments subject to an 8.5% interest charge. Our direct debit facility is only available on policies incepted over the telephone.

Q: How do I view the policy wording(s)?
A: To view the policy wording for our residential landlord's insurance package, please click on our 'Product Details' page and follow the on screen instructions to view the complete policy wording.

Q: How do I make a claim?
A: To make a claim or report an incident, please refer to your full policy wording where a claims telephone number will be provided. Alternatively claims information is disclosed on our 'Claims' page. If you are unsure about any aspect of this, you may contact our office on 0845 226 8559 where we will be happy to reaffirm these details to you. Please have your policy number to hand when calling. Also note, we are not permitted to advise or deal with any questions relating to any claim and/or incident that may or may not have occurred at your premises. Claims and incidents are fully handled by our experienced claims handling team.

Q: How do I change or cancel my policy?
A: If you wish to change any aspect or even cancel of your insurance policy with Letprotector you will need to put your request in writing. Please send your request from our 'Changes to Existing Policies' page. Alternatively you can send it to: Letprotector

Q: What can I do if I'm not satisfied with Letprotector?
A: If you are not wholly satisfied with the cover provided by your policy or the service provided by Letprotector you have the right to cancel your policy. Please refer to the back of your policy wording for further details of what to do if you are not satisfied by any aspect of your policy or by Letprotector.
If you choose to cancel the policy within 14 days of receiving your hard copy of policy documents, providing no claims or incidents have arisen, you will be entitled to a full refund on the premium you have paid. Anything outside of the 14 day cooling off period will result in a pro-rata return premium, less the administration fee to take into account our costs in providing the policy. You are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS at http://www.fscs.org.uk/
